Neurology is the branch of medicine that focuses on diagnosing and treating disorders related to the nervous system. It encompasses a wide range of conditions affecting the brain, spinal cord, nerves, and muscles. Neurologists are specialized physicians who evaluate, diagnose, and manage neurological disorders, including stroke, epilepsy, Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis, headaches, etc.
Dr. Rithvik Ramesh, a highly skilled neurologist with a specialization in DM Neurology, leads and oversees the comprehensive neurological services offered at our clinic including electroencephalogram (EEG), nerve conduction studies (NCS) and other diagnostic modalities. With his expertise, he ensures the highest quality of care for patients with neurological conditions.
He is a faculty and an Associate Professor, in the department of Neurology at Sri Ramachandra Medical Centre. He received the university Gold Medal in MD Internal Medicine. He was the best outgoing student and was awarded the university gold medal in DM Neurology. His areas of interest involve research in neurology, stroke, epilepsy, neuroimmunology and neuro infection. He has published several articles in national and international journals.
